Selling at auction is very simple. If you are a prospective seller all you need to do is bring the item(s) you wish to sell into the Auction Galleries. We will then give you a valuation of your items free of charge, with no obligation to sell.

If you still wish to sell your antiques after the valuation, we will take your details and discuss any reserve prices you may wish to set. A reserve price is the minimum price you will accept for the sale of an item. The buying public are not at any point made aware of your reserve. If during the auction of your items the bidding does not reach your reserve prices, your item will be unsold.

If however your antiques are sold, you will be sent a cheque for the sale amount minus our Commission. Commission is our charge for selling your items. Our current rates are :

for antique auctions 15%
for general household auctions 20%

* While your antiques are on our premises they will be automatically insured. A 2% Insurance cover Cost will also be included in our fee.
